Formed in 2006 the firm of Janus & Tannenbaum, P.C. is a General Practice with concentrations in  Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation and Real Estate Transactions. Our attorneys have over 40 years of combined experience irence in the practice areas. At Janus &Tannenbaum. Michael  Janus, Esq. - Admitted in New York & New Jersey.

Graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law MR Janus also earned  an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University.  

A  former I.R.S. Estate and Gift Tax Attorney, Mr. Janus has experience in Estate Planning and associated matters. As an associate in a major NYC plaintiff's personal injury firm, Mr. Janus gained substantial experience in representing clients who have been injured due to the fault of others. Past verdicts include an award of $478,500 against the City of New York and $225,000 against a taxi cab company. Mr. Janus handles all aspects of his cases from intake, through discovery and trial. His services are often sought out from other attorneys and the firm often acts as "trial counsel" for many area firms.

Matthew Tannenbaum, Esq. - Admitted in New York.

Graduate of Touro Law School and has vast experience in the area of Real Estate and Corporate law.  As an associate and later while running his own practice Mr. Tannenbaum gained experience in representing his clients in all aspects regarding the sale and purchase of residential real esate. Having represented buyers, sellers, title companies and lenders at the closing table Mr. Tannenbaum is in the unique position of having seen the tranaction from all the seats at the closing table.

Mr. Tannenbaum represents many institutional and private mortgage lenders.  He also handles the Purchase or Sale businesses, Short Sale Payoff transactions and the purchase of bank owned properties or "REO's".
